Who is Oizys?

/oʊɪzɪs/

Oizys is the Greek goddess of misery and suffering. She is the embodiment of sadness.

Why Oizys?

She is not as well-known or sought-after in comparison to other Greek goddesses and is described as a “malevolent spirit.” I beg to differ. Oizys is misunderstood. It is written in her fate to do what she must do. She has no choice. Oizys has never gained any favour in the stories told by any writer. She feels melancholy and loneliness which speaks to her powers but many misunderstand Oizys and perceive her as evil. Like Oizys, people have misunderstood me—whether it is my identity, actions or views. With this newsletter, I hope to clear misunderstandings and present things as they are, with all their goodness, joy, and unpleasantness. Life is a mix of everything we know.

For while comfort is soothing, have you ever tried chaos?
